Born and raised in Ontario Canada, I learned about art at an early age from my Dad. He used to paint outdoor scenes, weld sculptures in metal and I always seemed to follow him around the garage and the backyard while he created wonderful things.
My formal training is in technology but I never let my passion for art subside...in fact work was a way to keep up with creative projects and in this day and age technology allows us to create and share art instantly. I share daily work on my blog. . It was simple to see that I was drawn to art in every form. I always wanted more paint, more brushes, more canvas, and more paper.
I have completed several commissioned paintings and wall murals. My most recent work has been published in Children’s Market. . I have a large collection of children’s picture books and I enjoy reading them over and over. The smile that the wonderful artwork brings to me and to the children I read to is priceless and it was then that I knew what my passion in life would be...to create wonderful, fun and colorful art that children and people of all ages would enjoy for years to come. This is my goal and my passion.
I have two new Children’s Books out....
The Sunflowers - by Diana Evans
I spy a Dragonfly - written by Carla Burke and illustrated by Diana Evans
